Miss Michelle's Classes
Michelle teaches “Wiggle, Jiggle, and Sing!” and “Gym Jammin” parent /toddler music classes at the Buffalo Grove (IL) Park District – Tuesday, Thursday, and Friday. Everyone gets to join in the musical fun…the lessons plans are designed to encourage musical play, parent/child interaction and are developmentally age appropriate. Each week families dance, tap, clap, sing, play rhythm instruments, and meet Miss Michelle’s puppet friends. She introduces basic music concepts such as…fast/slow, loud/soft, high/low pitches, and long/short sounds with a playful, non-threatening approach. These musical concepts are the stepping stones to reading and math readiness. Come join the fun, and get ready to wiggle, jiggle and sing with your child!
